There is Oil Penetration Tester offered by us that is used for determining the Impregnation (Penetration) Time of Oil and other Liquids, which may be defined as, the Time in Seconds required for a Liquid of Definite Composition and Viscosity to Completely Penetrate the Sheet of Paper, from one face to the other, under certain specified conditions.
DESCRIPTION:
Oil Penetration Tester is designed for determining the penetration time of oil and other liquids through paper and other similar materials by the Surface Resistance. Time (SORT) taken for 75% of the surface covered by oil through Photo Electric Digital Timer. Cooling system is provided along with constant temperature regulator.
APPLICATIONS:
Used for Writing / Printing and Absorbent Kraft Paper.
SALIENT FEATURES:
Instrument chamber has an orifice for holding the liquid medium and a clamping device for holding the material.
Penetration timer stops automatically after releasing the sample holder.
Provided with Electronic Pid digital temp. controller to control the temp of liquid at 35 1 C.
Double processed castor oil having viscosity of 700 30 centipoises at 25 C or mineral oils of the same viscosity and comparable. wetting characteristics are used.
Suitable range thermometer also provided.
Stop watch or electronic timer notes penetration time after oil comes in contact with paper.
